五年級愉景灣英文遊學團

Our Discovery Bay study tour that took place on 29^th-30^th April was definitely the highlight of the year for our P.5 pupils. It was an amazing opportunity for students and teachers to take learning beyond the classroom and immerse themselves in an English-speaking environment.

From interviewing residents and tourists in Discovery Bay and talking to each other to buying snacks- the kids used English throughout their day. And if that is not enough, we also had a rare chance to familiarize ourselves and practice our table manners with our lovely supervisor- Reverend Cindy Kwok. Another wonderful opportunity for our students during this trip was the joint project with S.K.H Wei Lun Primary School which was the perfect mix of fun and productivity! Everyone came back tired but fulfilled.

 

4月29日至30日舉行的「愉景灣英語遊學團」無疑是本校五年級同學本學年最精彩的亮點。這次活動為師生提供了一個絕佳的機會，讓學習跨出課室，完全沉浸在英語環境中。

從訪問愉景灣的居民與遊客、同學間的日常交談，到購買零食，孩子們整天都在運用英語溝通。不僅如此，我們更獲得了十分難得的機會，與敬愛的校監——郭牧師（Reverend Cindy Kwok）一同學習並實踐餐桌禮儀。這次旅程中另一個美妙的契機，是與聖公會偉倫小學合作的專題研習活動，完美結合了趣味與學習成效！

雖然回程時大家都感到疲倦，但內心卻充滿了滿滿的成就感與收穫。
